Magnolia & Pine opened its doors in June 2025, born out of owner Hope Holt's love for interior design and the Alabama lake she calls home.

She and her family have been coming to Lake Martin for nearly 30 years, and in 2020 she and her husband decided to make it their full-time home. That long-standing connection to the lake eventually turned into a new adventure — building a shop where that same charm could live year-round.

The name reflects that journey: magnolia, for one of Hope's longtime hobbies, floral arranging, and pine, for the trees that line the shores of Lake Martin. Together, they capture what the shop is all about — a bit of southern beauty, a bit of lake life.
