Chubby Crystal Cup — Handmade Ceramic

Handmade by local artist Sara Kathryn Hopple, this cup has a soft, rounded "chubby" shape — wider at the base, narrowing slightly at the rim. The exterior glaze is a warm, speckled greige with a crystalline blue bloom pooling near the base, like frost catching light, while the interior is finished in a glossy blue glaze. Each piece is thrown and glazed by hand, so the crystal pattern is never quite the same twice.

A striking piece for morning coffee, or simply left out as a small sculptural object on a shelf or console.
